“YOU BE THE JURY”

An interesting feature of the Campaign at the Church of Christ has been the use of the question box. Already Mr Flood has answered many questions regarding the Church, the Bible, prophecy, and the relation of Christ’s teaching to modern life.

Last night Mr Flood said “For too long, people have regarded the pulpit as a coward’s castle, where the preacher has all the say and the enquirer keeps his problems to himself. Th* question box allows all to express their views on the matters under discussion. I have never asked anj r one to sign their questions, and I welcome any type of relevant question. Many sermons are brilliant answers to questions no one is asking. The question box forces the preacher to deal with the things which are in the minds of the people.” In spite of pouring rain the Happv Hour for children proved again popular. Nearly 4000 children gathered yesterday afternoon. The leader, G. 11. Stirling, urges all who attend, to go on Sunday to their own Sunday School.
