PATROL THRUSTS
ACTIVITY ON ITALIAN FRONT (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) London, April 17. Patrol thrusts and artillery exchanges occurred at many points on the Italian front, says Reuter’s correspondent at Allic headquarters. Rome radio announced that “departures for the north are going to occur and soldiers and all those who wish to leave Rome must apply immediately for information and instruction.” Reuter, which put out the announcement. declared that no further details were given in the announcement. which came from the Commissioner for Transport. BADOGLIO MINISTRY RESIGNS (Rec. 1.20 pm ) London, April 17. The resignation of the Badoglio Ministry is announced by the Italian Press Ministry. Negotiations for the formation of a new Ministry are proceeding.
