HEROIC EFFORT
NEW ZEALAND’S MESSAGE Mr Sullivan has sent the following message to General Freyberg: “My colleagues in the War Cabinet join with me in extending on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand our congratulations to you and all ranks of the division and the other units associated with them in the heroic effort they made in the recent operations in Cassino.”
