EXPENDITURE IN LAST SIX MONTHS Wellington, April 15. In the six months ended 31st March the Patriotic Fund Board paid out over £560.000. The expenditure for general purposes was £413.018 and for sick, wounded and prisoners of war, £152,242. General expenditure included £236,247 on behalf of New Zealand forces overseas. Imprests for the Joint Council of St. John and the Red Cross for sick, wounded and prisoners totalled £128.025 and expenditure on behalf of troops in New Zealand, £65.652. Administration expenses totalled £1219 P.A.
