NEW ISSUE FOR NELSON After a life of nearly two and a-half years’ service the telephone directories in Nelson have in many cases become sadly dog-eared and dilapidated. Shortly, however, they will be replaced by a fresh new issue which will lake their place at everybody’s beck and call.
The last issue of the telephone directory in Nelson was published in November, 1941, and due to the paper shortage was not replaced as quickly as in former years. For some time the issue of new directories has been carried out gradually throughout the Dominion, but Nelson’s turn.came well d.own the list. The new telephone books for Nelson will be published on Ist June.
To secure the accuracy of the new books, subscribers are requested by the Post and Telegraph Department to examine their listings and to notify immediately any new or amended entry of which notification has not already been made.
