At last evening’s meeting of the executive of the Tahuna Sands Association some concern was expressed at the growing —practice of riding horses or» the Sands Reserve and on the beachMembers emphasised the danger to the public and particularly to young childSuch a practice is contrary to the city by-law which states: “Any person shall be guilty of an offence who shall in or upon any part of the Sands Reserve, ride or drive to the annoyance or danger of persons using the said reserve any horse or other animal.” The association decided to draw the attention of the police to this matter.
