HIGH PRICE FOR CROSSBRED WOOL
Gisborne, No.v. 25. Gisborne has provided the highest price for crossbred , wool for the Dominion since war appraisals began. Mr H. Q. Barker’s offering of eleven bales of hogget fleece wool, representing 30 per cent, of the clip, realised 194 d. Other six-bale lots realised 18|d and 18Jd, while in numerous instances 17£d and 17.? d was paid.—P.A.
