SCOUTS’ APPRECIATION

SERVICES OF MR R. SCOLTOCK PRESENTATION OF THANKS BADGE The Iron Duke Sea Scout Troop, at a parade last evening, presented a Scout Thanks Badge to Mr R. Scoltock in recognition of his good services to the troop as secretary of the committee for 22 years since the troop was formed in 1921. The badge was subscribed for by the boys of the troop and was presented to Mr Scoltock by Bowman Hamish McCallum. The Dominion Commissioner for Sea Scouts, Mr J. A. Black, who was present at the parade, endorsed the boys’ action on behalf of headquarters, and said that the work being done for the scouting movement by such people as Mr Scoltock was thoroughly appreciated.
