JAPANESE REINFORCEMENTS R.A.F. PATROLS ON WEST COAST London, Jan. 31. A Chungking communique states:— “Fighting in Burma on the Yunnan border is growing fiercer with more enemy reinforcements in the area.” An Indian communique reports: ‘‘There is no change on the Arakan front. R.A.F. activity yesterday consisted chiefly of shipping patrols and offensive reconnaissances along the Arakan coast. Not one of our aircraft is missing.”—P.A.
