PATRIOTIC BALL
BIG LOCAL EFFORT The special committee convened by Mrs R. Oliver to make the arrangements for the Patriotic Ball to be held in the Velma Hall on Thursday next, has made progress in their preparations. The hall should be packed to the doors as there will be everything there which appeals to the dancers of the town. A sit down supper is being provided. A special attraction will be a number of items by the Rhythm Studio. H. Williams's orchestra has been engaged for the evening. The whole of the proceeds front this function will be 'given to the Sick and Wounded and Prisoners of War Parcel Fund.
