CIVILIAN DOCTORS
POINT OF VIEW IN WELLINGTON Wellington, This Daj’. “When asked on Thursday night, on the telephone, to comment on the position of civilian doctors in Wellington, I expressed the viewpoint of a private doctor, and was not speaking on behalf of the British Medical Association on the question of the disposal of medical personnel—which is controlled by the national medical committee, ’* said Dr. S. D. Rhind, hon. general secretary of the New Zealand division of the B.M.A. "The medical needs of the Services abroad and at home, of course take precedence to all others, and the medical profession remaining make no complaint at the extra demands on their time, and will continue to give of their best to meet all emergencies.”—P.A.
