MAN-POWER COMMITTEE
MURCHISON APPEALS The No. 9A Man Power Committee held a sitting at Murchison on Thursday, when the following appeals were dealt with:— Leslie Claude Cole, farmer, on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship.—Adjourned sine die. Mrs S. Foulsham appealed on behalf of Lyell Stanley Foulsham, farm labourer, on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship.—Dismissed, service being postponed to 31st May. Norman James Hill, land clearing contractor, appealed on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship.— Adjourned for review on 31st May. Thomas George Irvine appealed for Reginald Irvine on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship.—Adjourned for review on 31st May. James Florence McAuliffe. farmer, with Thomas Foster McAuliffe as coappellant, appealed on the grounds of public interest and undue hardship.— Adjourned sine die. Mrs R. M. Dwan appealed for Thomas Ronald Pasmore, farm labourer, on the grounds of undue hardship.— Adjourned for review on 31st May. Cyril Alfred Flower, farmer, appealed on the grounds public interest. The appeal was withdrawn, but service was postponed until after 28th February.
