AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB Auckland, This Day. The third day of the Auckland Trotting Club opened in light drizzling rain for the first race. The track was heavy after over-night rain and the attendance was moderate. Results:— Tamaki Handicap, of £275; trotters; 5.1 class: two miles—2-2 Mac's Jimmy, 12yds bhd (Greenhorn), 1; 3-4 Tall Timber, scr (Millner). 2; 5-3 Alvis, 12 yds bhd (Watts), 3. All started. Won by three lengths, length. Times, 4.49. Alvis was bracketed with Baby Triumph and Worthy Worker. Park Handicap, of £275; 3.34 class; one mile and a half —2-1 Don Walla, 12 yds bhd (Gerrard), 1; 10-7 Derby Lu, 12yds bhd (Norris). 2; 7*-9 Maratua, scr • Mitchell), 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length , three lc-ngths. Time. 3.24.
