WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR Hamilton, This Day, A resident of Rukuhia, Mrs Ivy Day, aged 30, had both her leg* broken when she was knocked down by a motor car opposite the Rukuhia school on the Main South Road this afternoon. Mrs Day was near her home at the time. The car was driven by Mr J. C. Wallis, farmer, of Kaipaki. Mrs Day was taken to the Waikato Hospital and her condition is serious.—P.A.
