PLAYING NURSES

On Saturday we played hospitals with Elsa Wimsett. We had seven patients, and their names were Margaret, Teddy, Betty, Annabell, Elizabeth, Shirley, and another Betty. Margaret had the mumps and a cold; Teddy had appendicitis; Betty had a bad head; Annabell had pneumonia; Elizabeth had appendicitis; Shirley broke her ear drum, and Betty had a broken leg. Molly Elsa and I were the nurses, and we made their dinners out of leaves and weeds.—Noni McConchic, (10 years), Nelson.
