ROYAL DONATIONS TO RELIEF FUNDS

Rugby, Oct. 21. The King has sent a further donation of £2OOO and the Queen a further £IOOO to the Duke of Gloucester’s Red Cross and St. John fund. Their Majesties expressed their'desire that £IOOO of the joint gift should be allocated to the Aid to Russia fund, of which Mrs Churchill is the chairman. Queen Mary sent a further £SOO to the Red Cross and St. John fund, and asked that £2OO of this should be allocated to the Aid to Russia fund. —8.0. W.
