Being all wool, it dries quickly and isl Beside last year's woollen stock, even ! in its most attractive form, the new I j bathers look immeasurably superior. J | They hold their own with the newestl [designs in satin lastex now ready fori | this summer. They are mostly in plain j I colours and white, but have also been , successfully patterned in colour. ! The latest satin lastex gowns are gaily ; J patterned with brightly coloured coil- j ! spots—blue with big white spots, white ! with red spots, and many other vari- ; ations. , [ 1 Large diagonal stripes of hot pink., and white with horizontal stripes for!' the top is another outstanding new! style. Dull-surfaced sharkskin is at- j tractive in burgundy, chartreuse and j white. One Melbourne woman designer is j competing with America for her hot jungle designs. Lions and tigers j glimpsed in tropical forest form one striking example.
