See round Thine ark the hungry bilious curling: ( Sec how Thy foes their banners are unlurling; Lord, while their darts envenomed they are hurling. Thou canst preserve us. .Grant us Thy help till foes are backi ward driven: ( Grant them Thy truth that they may be forgiven: Grant peace on earth, and. after we have striven. Peace in Thy heaven. O God. by Whose will we are born to be citizens of this land, enable us to love our country, not in word only, but in deed and in truth. Let us never re- ! joice in any pleasures which ruin i others, nor encourage vices which sap the nation's morale, nor accept a life | f idleness while others toil for our I comfort and fight for our safety. Let jus who haw.: most received by ready ! most to give, in the spirit of Thy Son ■Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. i
