RESULTS OF SATURDAY’S MATCHES In all Saturday's basketball matches the standard of play was much improved. A Grade Rebels played a much improved game to defeat Richmond by 23 goals to 16. The passing of both teams was excellent. Rebels’ movements were finished off' by more accurate goal-throwing than those of Richmond. Rebels B were were very unlucky at the goal alHhough their passing has improved considerably. R. Butcher played a clean, open game in the centre. J. Carpenter and A. Brent were shooting accurately for Wakatu. The final score was Wakatu 17. Rebels 8. IJ Grade Hospital were defeated for the first time lor two seasons by Te Rama. [. Easterbrook was responsible for most ol the goals for Te Rama. The final score was IG-8. Wesley defeated Rebels C by 12 goals to 6. Richmond B and Te Rama B had a good game The shooting of both sides was excellent, very few shots being missed. The final was Te Rama B 16. Richmond B 8. Rivals 14 defeated Tahuna Juniors 1.
