£2OOO TO MALTA RELIEF FUND
PATRIOTIC BOARD DECISION GRANT OF £ Too.ooo TO BRITAIN APPROVED Wellington, This Day. The National Patriotic Fund Board -» its meeting yesterday decided to make another grant of £2OOO to the Malta Relief Fund. A similar sum was contributed earl in the year and was acknowledged by the Governor of Malta. vl*.a sent a cable message, on behalf of the people of the island, ex'ressing warmest gratitude for the gift. The meeting, over which his Excel,Qncy the Governor-General. Sir Cyril Newall presided, also approved of the further contribution .. f £IOO 000 toward relief in Britain recommended by the recent conference of the patriotic bodies —P.A.
