st POHARA W.I The monthly meeting of Pohara W.I. was held recently, Mrs O. C. Miller presiding. Owing to the inclement weather few members were present. After the business had been disposed of Mrs Miller read a chapter from "Pioneer Tales,” which was thoroughly enjoyed. The competition of a cold sweet was won by Mrs Galloway, Mrs Macfarlane being second. * The best bloom was won by Mrs Grant. Mrs Bruce and M Mrs Aitcheson being second equal.
