Fat cattle: A slightly smaller yarding was forward, but an improved sale resulted for best steers by up to 25s and for others by 15s Prime steers made from £ls to £l7, with tops going to £18; good, medium lines, £l3 to £l4 10s; light down to £10; best heifers to £l2 10s, tops to £l4 17s fid; good cows £9 to £ll 10s, tops to £l4. Best beef made from 37s fid to 40s a 1001 b, tops to 425; good, medium lines, from 34s to 375. Fat pigs: A keen sale resulted for porkers.
