NEW RADIO WEAPON

USE AGAINST AIR RAIDERS INVENTION OF BRITISH SCIENTISTS [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] (Rec. 1.40 p.m.) London, May 21. British scientists in collaboration with scientists in Canada and in the United States have invented a new radio weapon for use against day and night raiders. Details of the invention are secret, but it has been revealed that it involves the use of many small radio sets which will be able to detect hostile planes and direct anti-aircraft fire against them with deadly precision. Britain has trained 1000 radio technicians to operate the weapon.
