NELSON PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE
DEMAND AND PRICES GOOD One of the most successful Jersey sales yet held in Nelson took place when the annual dispersal sale was held under the auspices of the Nelson Jersey Club by the New Zealand Loan / and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited. There was a particularly large attendance of buyers and the demand was good right up to the end of the catalogue. Consistently good prices ;, were paid throughout and the splendid average of 13£ guineas for the 38 head sold was obtained. Twenty-six guineas was the highest price of the day, paid ! by Mr L. B. Kain, Wakapuaka. for a heifer offered by Mr L. A. Higgins. I Sales were made on account of the j following vendors:— Mr L. A.
