INTERCESSION

j The Lord is my rock and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in Whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. I will call on the Lord Who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from mine enemies (Read Joshua i, verses 1-9). O God, we thank Thee for the many tokens of Thy gracious presence and leading Thou dost vouchsafe to Thy children Be pleased to increase within us the spirit of steadfast faith in the eternal wisdom and goodness. In times of perplexity, let us not be fearful and unbelieving; in situations of difficulty, grant us confidence in Thy power; in hours of discouragement, strengthen us by Thy grace; that so we may still press on. and may encourage others to be faithful, believing that Thy purpose cannot and will not fail. Amen.
