BANKING AGREEMENT
DUTCH EAST INDIES AND JAPAN [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] BATAVIA, 28th December. It is officially announced that the Java Bank and the Yokohama Specie Bank have reached an agreement establishing current accounts in each bank, which will be the only channel for future international payments. It was said that the bank with an eventual excess credit would be entitled to purchase United Slates dollars from the other bank.
