A USEFUL TIP

FOR THOSE WHO KEEP THEIR CARS CLEAN When washing out a chamois leather add a few drops of olive oil to the water. The oil prevents the leather from becoming stiff and hard and also preserves it.

When polishing a car avoid cleaning the windscreen with a cloth which has been used with any wax or liquid body polish. Any deposit of wax or cleaner on the screen will tend to make it hold moisture when wet and will obscure the vision of the driver. Use a little methylated spirits on a clean cloth to clean the windscreen.
