The newcomer Walker was soon out , and Smith was run out shortly after- j wards. Knapp added a valuable 17 in short time but was then clean bowled by Hall the score still being 4 short of Waimea’s total. With 3 minutes to go Taylor, the last man in. took strike to Hall and off the third ball of the over he hit a boundary thus equalling the j scores.
