NEW GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF SUDAN SUNDAY

[British Official Wireless] RUGBY, 23rd October. The appointment of a successor to Sir Stewart Symes. Governor-General of the Sudan, was announced in the i House of Commons by the Foreign Under-Secretary. Mr Butler, who said Sir Hubert Huddleston would occupy the position till Sir Kennard Bourdillon was able to leave Nigeria, of which he is now Governor-General.
