SUNDAY NIGHT'S AIR RAID CASUALTIES Owing to words being dropped in transmission of the cable, a message published on Tuesday indicated that air raid casualties in London on the night of 20th-21st October amounted to 2871. This message actually referred to casualties reported in Berlin and should have read: According to the “Daily Mail,” the Rome radio estimated that the air raid casualties in Berlin on 20th-21st October amounted to 2871, which is considerably more than double the highest number suffered in any night raid on London.
