WOOL SEASON OPENS

APPRAISAL AT AUCKLAND l United Press Association] AUCKLAND, 24th October. The New Zealand wool season was commenced in Auckland when the first appraisal began at Parnell stores. Between 6000 and 7000 bales are available and the appraisers expect to be occupied till Sunday. Following an appeal to growers to forwarf their wool as soon as possible and the postponement of the appraisal from Monday, more wool was available than had been expected.
