ODFELLOWSHIP

LOYAL NELSON LODGE The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Nelson Lodge was presided over by the N.G., Bro. E. J. Curry. This meeting was conducted by officers from the Past Grands’ Lodge, it being their annual visit to the Lodge. There was not a great deal of business to transact, so that members had ample opportunity of discussing Lodge activities.

Medical benefits due to sick members were passed for payment.

One juvenile member was initiated into the order.

Bro. G. Coleman thanked the members of the Lodge for the opportunity for members of the Past Grands’ Lodge to occupy the chairs and sincerely trusted that they, would again have the pleasure of conducting the meeting on some future date.

Several fnembers reported on the excellent programme arranged by the Loyal Wakatu Juvenile Lodge on the occasion of their anniversary on Bth October, which was much appreciated by all those who were fortunate enough to be present.

The NG. closed the meeting at .9 p.m., after which members participated in games of bowls.

Supper was dispensed by the social committee of the Lodge.
