BREED CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS The following are the results of the breed championship trials held on 20th October. Setter championship: T. P. Killalea’s “Kinvara Kelly’’ (88), 1; H. Open field trial: W. J. Harley’s “Brackenfield Jet” (83), 1; J. Vitetta’s “Prince Paddy" (79), 2; T. Killalea’s “Kinvara Kelly” (78), 3. Open water retriever: F, A. Elliott’s “Ch. Brackenfield Sherry” (91), 1; W. J. Harley’s “Brackenfield Jet” (90), 2; M. Cussen’s English Setter b. “Charm" (88), 3.

The trials were conducted at Eden’s Hole, Appleby, under ideal conditions.

Mr J. Colquhoun’s Labrador, by wining her final point, becomes the Nelson Club’s first field trial champion. Mr M. Cussen was the judge and is thanked for officiating.
