OIL FOR JAPAN
NEGOTIATIONS IN PROGRESS [British Official Wireless] (Received 24th October, 10.47 a.m.) RUGBY, 23rd October. Asked in the House of Commons about negotiations for the supply of oil to Japan by a number of Dutch and other companies, Mr Dingle Foot, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Warfare said Mr Dalton was aware that such negotiations were taking place and was watching them closely.
