The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” says that the Japanese Government is making a census of all Japanese subjects in the United States, Hawaii, Canada and leading South American countries, to be completed on 20th November. It iis designed to determine those i*equir'ed to serve in the armed forces of Japan in 1941 and to discover the property holdings of Japanese, also their professional and educational qualifications.
