WOMEN INTERNED

BELIEVED TO BE FIRST IN 9 DOMINION [United Press Association] AUCKLAND, 26th June. A young German woman was taken into custody by the Auckland police to-day under the Emergency Precautions Regulations. She will be Intern ed for the duration of the war. She is believed to be the first enemy alien woman to be interned in New Zealand during this war.
