CONFERENCE IN WANGANUI [United Press Association) WANGANUI, 11th January. Delegates from both islands will attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Master Grocers’ Federation, to be held in Wanganui from 29th January to Ist February. Three important subjects will be discussed at the conference —price fixations, import restrictions, and industrial problems affecting the trade. The visitors will be given a civic welcome by the Mayor, Mr Rogers. A comprehensive programme of entertainment has been arranged. The conference was last held in Wanganui in 1931.
