DENOUNCED BY POPE (U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-CopyrightJ VATICAN CITY, 11th January. The Pope, during an audience to 600 newly-weds, denounced birth control. He said: “There are undeniable difficulties in rearing large families, specially in these expensive times. Children demand sacrifices and courage, sometimes even heroism.”
