TRAIN WAR WITH GERMANY
QUICK WIN BY FRANCE [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] PARIS, 9th January. In all Franco-German hostilities since 1870 there has been a war within war over the eastern express trains. This time France has won a quick victory. The French Simplon Orient express, terminating at Istanbul, resumed its normal schedule yesterday, the German Orient express ceased running.
