The Maritime Commission has aproved the application by the United •tates Lines Company to sell eight hips to Ihe North Atlantic Transport ompany, a Norwegian corporation. The ships will operate between New 'ork, London and Liverpool. The sale includes the American rader, American Banker, American armer, American Importer, American ' lerchant, American Shipper (all of hich are of 7430 tons and were built a 1920), the American Traveller, of 555 tons, which was also built in 1920. nd the President Harding of 13,869 >ns, built in 1921. Norwegians hold 60 per cent, of the 'ock in the United States Lines and 0 per cent, of the stock in the Noregian concern.
