Store sheep: About 2000 were entered shorn hoggets comprising the bulk of the entry. Shorn hoggets sold at from 5 12s to 19s lOd, medium and besl- ■ wool led at from 16s to 28s: and ewes and lambs, at from 9s 9d to 15s sd. Fat sheep: About 5000 were entered, the majority being ewes. Wethers improved by Is to Is 6cl a head on last week, and ewes, particularly those ’ that were shorn, met an improved market. Extra prime heavy wool wethers made to 46s 7d, prime heavy 41s to 445, prime medium 35s to 40s, ; light to 295; extra prime woolly ewes.
