A MESSAGE TO MANKIND

On Tuesday afternoon Maureen Morris Price delivered another stirring address to a packed audience in St. John’s Methodist Hall, Hardy street. This dynamic speaker, a living example of what she teaches, says: “We are living in a commercial and industrial age, when man, with few exceptions, is striving to build for himself a temple of gold—a temple constructed at the expense of his own health and happiness. He devotes the best part of his life to the task of poisoning his body to such an extent, that he has sacrificed his health and if perchance, he realises that the temple is of dross instead of gold, and he is left broken in health and wondering if it has all been worthwhile. Though his is rich in this world’s goods he is left destitute in mind, body, soul and spirit. When man disobeys universal laws he violates the fundamental laws of nature. Nature is a kind teacher, but man is a careless, unthinking pupil. Disease and unhappiness are caused by improper care and devitalised, pulverised foods, and the inability of man to develop and use the intelligence with which he was endowed at birth.” Mrs Price also stated that in her talks to men and women who are ill in mind and body, she urges them to return to the simple ways of nature. From a strict adherence to her laws would come good health, peace, joy and contentment Mrs Price will again lecture to women only on Thursday night, 6th July, in St. John’s Methodist Hall. Next v'tek finalises her health campaign in Nelson.
