STOKE GOLF CLUB
Owing to weather conditions, the Stoke Club's match with Maitai was postponed indefinitely and the visit to Greenacres was carried forward to next week-end. It is hoped that as many players as possible will take advantage of this invitation. Members will be interested to learn that Dr. Crawshaw successfully holed his tee shot on No. 5 on Thursday last. On Saturday next tbe second round for the Cull Cup will be played. As the previous Saturday set aside for this fixture was too wet for play, the same draw will apply, i.e. Jones and Thorby, Barton and Croucher, Black and Lee, Tomlinson and Scott, Johnson and Robinson, Bell and Fair, Johns and Baigent, Brunt and Harris, Chisnall and Reeves, Cock and Plum, Crawshaw and Thomason, King and Pitts-Brown, Douglas and McLaren.
