Mr K. J. Holyoake left Motueka last night to commence’a tour of the Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Poverty Bay districts during which he will deliver public political addresses including centres such as Wanganui, Marton. Gisborne. Wairoa, Hastings, Waipukurau, Dannevirke and Masterton. His father, Mr H, V. Holyoake will accompany him on the trip during which they will be motored by Mr T. G. Wilkes who will be well remembered as a political organiser in the Motueka electorate.

At a meeting of the committee of the Nelson Agricultural and Pastoral Association, the president stated that he understood that Mr J. G. Ingrain, one of their members, who was visiting Great Britain in the near future and on behalf of the Association he wished Mrs Ingram and himself a pleasant trip and a safe return Mr Ingram thanked the president for his kindly remarks and gave an amusing description of the difficulties being experienced with regard to the various permits which are required before one can go abroad. The association granted Mr Ingram six months’ leave of absence.

Mr Frank Price (Napier), who hw been studying German newspaper methods in Berlin, has returned to London Mr Price, who is a son of Mr Charles Price of the Hawkes Bay “Her-ald-Tribune.” a veteran New Zealand journalist, is travelling round the world gaining experience in journalism. He has held positions in many capacities on a number of newspapers in New Zealand. Australia and South Africa. It will be recalled that Mr Charles Price recently retired from the staff of the "Herald-Tribune” after sixty-two years’ service.
