A BETTER UNDERSTANDING (Received '2th May, 1.30 pm.) WARSAW. 11th May. A Foreign. Office spokesman, referring to M Potemkin, Soviet Vice-Com-migsar for Foreign Affairs, and Colonel Beck’s, meeting said: ’Both ascertained a friendly obiective in their attitude towards each other. Poland learned that the Soviet tully understands the Polish attitude towards the British-Soviet negotiations
M. Potemkin assured Colonel Beck that the Soviet takes a positive attitude towards Colonel Beck’s statements of Poland’s attitude towards Germany.’’
