At the sale of sheepskins and hides held yesterday by the Wellington brokers, competition was keen and practically the whole of the offering was sold. Prices were inclined to be Sheepskins: All grades were lower by about jd a lb. Hides: Heavy ox were in demand and improved by about Jd to Id a lb; medium weights \«.ere fully firm, while light o* and kip declined by 1 8d to 3-8 d a lb; yearling and calf were generally .unchanged There was no demand for tallow.
