R.S.A. PICNIC

ARRANGEMENTS FOR ANNUAL EVENT Final arrangements have now been completed for the annual R.S.A. picnic to be held next Saturday 4th March. Two buses will leave the Poet Office, one at 9.30 a.m. and the other at 1.15 p.m. 'those who have not yet purchased tickets are requested to do so immediately from Mr Stedman, Newman’s Buildings, Hardy street. A full programme of running and novelty events, both for adults and children has been drawn up. The first race is to start at 11 a.m. The City Band will he in attendance and provide music during the day. Hot water and milk are provided free. Ice cream and soft drinks will be procurable on the ground. Everything points to a very pleasant day being spent by those who attend and tho committee are leaving no stone unturned to make the event a happy one both for young and old.
