PROVISION FOR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS AND FOOD RESERVES (Received 2nd March, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, Ist March. ] The estimates are: Ministry of Lab- j our. £24,264,000 —a decrease of £213.010; Unemployment Assistance Board £43,930.000 —a decrease of £415,000. The Labour Estimate includes £22.701.600 for unemployment insurance. The Civil Estimates Account is £440,315.831, an increase of £1,015,845, to provide £5,190,707 for air raid precautions and food reserves, compared with £9.283.420, but there is power for seeking to borrow additionally for this reason to an undisclosed extent in 1939.
