SUPPLIES RESTRICTED I United Pit-Hii Association) WELLINGTON. 27th February. It was recently reported that the entry to New Zealand of English ales hac been prevented by the import restrictions. An importer of Scottish ale' states that he has been allowed onethird of last year’s imports as his quote for the first half of this year, and it i; understood that importers of Englisl beer who have been doing a regula l business have been allowed a similai quota.
