WHIPPET RACES

THE NELSON CLUB ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON'S SPORT SATURDAYS EVENTS The Nelson Racing Whippet Club held a sweepstake meeting at Devanny's paddock, Stoke, last Saturday afternoon. The dogs were all in great condition and provided many good races and close finishes. The second lightweight handicap finalists were so close that the judges would not give a decision and as a result the race had to be rerun, to be won by Mr Templeman's Juno Mac. Mr Templeman is to no congratulated on the performance of his dog in winning the two lightweight handicap races. Mr D.
